Yes, it is that time once again. Another update... and time to refresh our mods. As the saying goes...

Once you go Gnomefather, you never go back. ...because lets face it, the Maus should not sound like the M3 Stuart.

This time it's 8.11 and with it, we don't have to worry about new cannons or tanks like before, so we do get some breathing room this time with the mods. Some caliber adjustments and a few tweeks. The links provide the notes.

NOTICE: THESE ARE THE 8.11 SOUNDS MODS. I was flooded last time with questions asking if these were the current patch mods. YES!

I am merely providing these links for fellow players. I have installed them both and they work great. Below are the instructions from my post from last patch. They are the same and goes as follows...

Heres how to install the Modpack.
Step 1 (IMPORTANT): Go into you World of Tanks Directory and go to WorldOfTanks/res, copy the 'audio' folder.
Step 2 (IMPORTANT): Paste the copy of the audio folder in your WorldOfTanks/res-mods/0.8.11
Step 3: Copy the 'audio' folder from the Modpack and place it in you WorldOfTanks/res-mods/0.8.11. Merge the folder when it asks you, Copy and Replace any files that it asks you to.
Step 4: In the Modpack, open the folder labelled 0.8.11, copy the folder labelled 'scripts' and paste it into your WorldOfTanks/res-mods/0.8.11.

As a side note to make it easier, install the gun mods first as shown. Follow with the engine, BUT ONLY STEPS 3 and 4. If for some reason you mess up, just delete the audio and scrip folders located in your res_mods folder and start over. Good luck. :)

If you are having issues with the 8.11 sound mods, here is the link from patch 8.10. These mods will work for you again if you used them in .10, should the .11 mods give you problems.

(Bare in mind, I did not create these mods. I am not entirely sure why some people have missing sounds at times. I can try my best to help but it's very limited. Install at your own risk.)
